- I’ve always wanted to play Rust, but never had a PC strong enough to run it. When I saw Rust trending on Twitter, I prayed it was because of a console release, and I literally screamed when I found out that was the case. I’m excited to join everyone in this community as an actual player in 2020!

Today is the 31 day of being completely Rust free and its completely changed my life Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:17 AM PST I used to play Rust as a addict, 5.5 hours a day over the period of one and a half years. It took my life over pretty quickly and started to effect my actual real life. I got lazier and my all my grades started to fall by and average of half a letter if I had to guess (for reference, I'm currently in my junior year in HS). Rust swallowed most of my free time so I didn't have time for other activities. Fast forward to a month ago where I decided to stop Rust completely. I came home, uninstalled Rust, unsubscribed from every god damn Rust youtube channel I was subscribed to and left every Rust discord server I was in. I started playing healthier games that don't revolve around literally grinding all day such as CSGO. My grades, social interactions so on have improved. This game is a killer for any social life. It cost me 3,100 hours of my life. If you are seeking help for gaming addiction check out /r/StopGaming [link] [comments]

I play DayZ on ps4, when this comes out on console, would it be the better option to play? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 12:13 PM PST I love the genre, and played DayZ as a mod on pc years back before console. I don't really know what rust is about, people just say it's one of the better survival games?? How is the pc version compared to day z on pc? [link] [comments]
Anyone else previously play PC that is hyped for console? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 12:12 PM PST I haven't played rust for a bit over a year now, as I no longer have a PC that can handle it. I only have about 1600 hours of play time before hand but I know as soon as it it's console my free time is gone. I'm super excited to get to play rust in a way I'm more comfortable with as I've mainly been a console gamer throughout my life, and I might actually have a chance of getting good at PvP now. My only concern is that I bought quite a bit of skins over the months I played rust before, and I don't care if I need to buy most of them again-- I just hope they do some type of way to link steam accounts with consoles just so I can get my frog boots, Christmas lights and previous Halloween buildables that were limited time offers. I'll be bummed if I can't fill my RP base with christmas lights and skull fireplaces. [link] [comments]
