Worst amount of cheaters I’ve ever seen before Posted: 09 May 2020 01:42 PM PDT I've never believed the complaints about official before. Sure, I've been killed by a cheater, but usually only one and they usually get banned the next day. But yesterday and today on Facepunch Small has been the WORST I've ever seen. 6 nailgun headshots from 40m and I'm dead. Sprayed from 200m with a tommy and I'm dead. Dudes strafing left and right at sprint speed full spraying. Already I've gotten 4 messages that someone I've reported has been banned, and yet I get on today and it's just as bad. Most likely the same people on new accounts. So is this a new phenomenon? What happened that there's so many new cheaters? And is there any way to avoid this other than playing on servers with admins that fly around? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 May 2020 06:21 PM PDT Does anybody have a similar setup, and if so how well do you think I will be able to run the game. Been thinking of getting it but I want to make sure I can run it decently well first. I have a GTX 1060 which is overclocked / an AMD FX-6300 3.5 Ghz cpu / and 6 gb of ram. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 May 2020 03:58 PM PDT It's an obvious thing once you think about it. Back when BP's were introduced there were FAR less items in the game. Ever since then we've added endless amount of new items to research. This means of course the loot table for crates, barrels, and so on have been increasing in size dramatically too. The introduction of electricity is a good point to look at. Before, to get a specific drop in the table was sensible. Okay, you're gonna either get some clothing or ammo or a weapon. Maybe a couple rp items but those are default or drop as blueprint anyway. Fine. But now there is SO many item possibilities that farming roads for a revolver, pump, or p2 isn't sensible. The main items you will always get will be electrical, farming, rp, melee, wooden armor, or RARELY will you actually get an important item for a fresh bp wipe like a T1 or T2 weapon. This drastically changes the meta towards obtaining weaponry from others than the game world. Good, more player interaction. The issue is, for those starting this is much more difficult given the current item disparity between those established and not. We all know the skill gap and learning curve for new players is already extremely high, let alone for those who solo. So the question ultimately is: Why do we flood the loot tables with all this secondary or third layer content that would be better suited being bought from a specific place than taking up slots in the loot tables? It makes very little sense to play casino on the roads and consistently get drops that is almost always irrelevant content unless specifically directed towards in a wipe. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE electricity and farming. However, they should be obtainable on a different avenue than our current drop tables due to their high volume of different item components for systems. What do you think? [link] [comments]
