Rust vehicles decay times are really bad Posted: 22 Jul 2020 02:08 PM PDT This week was my first week focusing solely on vehicles in rust. I've found the vehicles to be decaying way to fast. I feel like if I'm not hitting each module with a hammer, wood, and metal frags every hour I can expect to drop 10 or more hqm to get them back to full health. As a solo player this is pretty significant. I've been hosting 3 vehicles in my garage all week and it's absolutely draining. Further, I was excited to find a fluid container module since I was based next to the ocean and very far from any fresh water source. I had a decent sized indoor farm going and I thought that tanker would be amazing to go fetch tons of fresh water. I took the tanker to a lake and hoped there was a fast way to fill it up. There wasnt. Best I could do was taking jerry cans and manually filling the tanker- not worth it. Then I took the tanker to a few large water catchers and connected a hose to fill it up. This took like an hour just for 10,000 water- not worth it. In fact, trying to fill the tanker from a water catcher took so long that the vehicle decayed far enough to catch fire. Vehicles feel absolutely useless to me. Anyone else agree? Is there any plans Facepunch has mentioned to improve vehicle's usefulness? [link] [comments]

Rust app to show tool cupboard upkeep Posted: 22 Jul 2020 06:03 AM PDT Would be immensely useful to be able to check your TC upkeep status on your phone - especially if you're away for a while. Could just be a case of having a similar mechanism like the smart switches where you pair them together. Food for thought... [link] [comments]
