    I have a question, I'm not here to promote my server on this post, as I know there are certain rules against this.
    But I have a question. So many people have made new server's to ride the popularity trend. So servers are becoming more saturated, more than ever before in my opinion. Me and a buddy are keen Rust players, before the latest popularity surge and are finding it challenging to publicise our new server. All be it, I understand it probably the wrong time the create a new server due to the reason I state above (saturation).

    We average around 5-10 players online at a time during the day, which can admittedly fall to 0 during the night. But the people keep logging back onto the server so I assume they're having a good time, which after all is what me and my friend's goal is!!

    So after that little irrelevant text, my question!

    What would make you join a server? I see people posting everywhere or even spamming on occasion. All this ad posting doesn't do much for them as it either doesn't stand out or they're not given the time of day (which is fine). What would you say is a key pointer that'll boost your interest in joining a server?
    Mine, is a vanilla server with a PVE (player vs environment) island and a PVP (player vs player) mainland. With the goal of being fair, transparent and approachable for New and Experienced players.

    How to be efficient with Scrap usage in a 4/5 player group? And what research do you always prioritize?

    Should we focus a different research tree branch on different players? Or focus all in one player?

    Like, builder gets building part of researches, someone gets weapons and someone else gets armor, then they make those items in masse for the rest of the team? What do you prioritize?

    We're all new players (I only have around 100h for example) and we keep falling behind on tech. We constantly get our asses whooped vs AKs when we barely reached SMGs or SARs. It's also hard to defend against online raids when we have no stone compound setup yet because walls are super expensive to research.

    This wipe we constantly ran monuments (mostly power plant, train yard and bit of airfield) in a part of the map that wasn't very contested but felt very profitable because it was in the snow, and yet we still fell extremely behind and got our asses whooped by full Roadsign Armors and AKs multiple times.

    Almost every time we fight in a monument I feel like we're having a gear disadvantage, like Revolver and DBs vs SMGs, or SARS vs AKs. Hell, I even got my ass handed to me 3h or 4h into the wipe against LRs and I only had a Revolver and a DB
