| How Rust Gambling sites take a 26% fee (or even more) Posted: 11 Mar 2021 11:39 AM PST First off, Mods please dont remove this post. I just want to educate people on how scummy Rust Gambling sites are in the hope that kids don't gamble their parents money away. Many sites that use a balance feature like rustchance, rustysaloon (owned a certain youtuber whos name I have removed), and plenty of other sites have a 20% deposit fee. This means that if you were to just deposit and withdraw an item without gambling you'd lose 20% of the items value. The sites claim this is to prevent trading on their site but in reality its just another way for them to line their pockets. Heres a example from rustysaloon: Deposited item costs 1.89$ and withdrawn item costs 2.27. This 20% fee is in addition to the already 6% house edge on the site. None of these gambling sites are upfront about these fees. For comparison most legitimate online gambling sites only have 1-2% fees and are properly regulated with KYC for withdraw to prevent underage gambling. Shoutout to all the youtubers who dont take sponsorships from rust gambling sites :) [link] [comments] | ||
