    Pretty self explanatory. It's harder to do than cargo or oil rig as far as fighting scientists are concerned, but the loot isn't as good. Maybe buffing the scientists loot table would be enough to make it on par with oil.

    My name is Jay, I am 27 and I started to play Rust three weeks ago. This is my story how Rust made me a jackass. Like every new Rust player I started my first days on some low pop servers. I am a competitive person with some FPS background so I do know practice makes perfect and I was still angry that I died to bows/crossbows in my first days. I was spending like an hour every day on a bow/crossbow practice server, fighting real people without losing anything. I felt like it would be nice to play with someone so I started looking in LFG possibilities on reddit and discord. Found a guy (20M ~600h) let's call him Joe.

    We started playing on low pop noob friendly server. Joe said he gonna teach me things. He didn't really tried to teach me anything, he was doing all the base building, stuff placement inside base, he learned all the BPs without explaining or offering any of them. At that point I was kind of fine with the situation. Around the second day of week 2 we agreed we gonna find a more populated server. Joe picked the servers and we kept switching daily until the end of the week. Since his server picks was awful I found one myself, which was a mid pop (~100 people) vanilla monthly which was just wiped 30 minutes ago, this was the beginning of week 3.

    I asked him if he minds if this time I will make our base, after some silence he said he is okay with it. I have built our starter and told him I have a plan to expand it. I even had the exact numbers how much mats do we need so we started to collect materials to build it. The next day when I joined he was already on and just told me that he just built a new base close by with the mats we farmed yesterday. I was a bit angry but whatever I got over it. Since he was doing all the building again I started roaming around. The daily practice payed off and I started to keep killing people around. A lot of them was collecting resources for their base so I just keep bringing mats, components and tier one sets home. Joe was hiding in the base expanding it with the mats I was bringing. I ended up killing a guy with my crossbow who had a semi. Joe just researched it and learned the BP right away with the scrap I farmed.

    The next two days I was doing monuments on my own, kept killing people during it and managed to get thousands of scrap, all the tier two guns, full tier two roadsign set, large furnace, oil ref and everything for electricity. In the meantime Joe was mostly sitting in the base, building crafting maybe doing some close trips hitting barrels and chopping trees. So our snowball was quite good. One night we had some fun, we throwed knifes and axes toward each other. Joe started it so I locked him out of the TC by changing the code to 1379. ( I told him the code couple of minutes later )

    The next day a guy was typing in the public chat asking for a semi, we added him and a new friendship started. Later that day our new friend got raided so I offered him he can live with us and he was happy about it. Joe was not trusting him so he gave him only guest codes for some part of the base. I saw the code later in the group chat in discord. The magic 1379 I used to lock Joe out of the TC.

    On the 6th day I told the group that I am bored of roaming so I am gonna build a new backup base next to the one we have. Started to farm metal for it and smelting it in the large furnace. Every time I got back the metal frags was gone, Joe "needed it". I ended up placing a box with a table above it "New base" and placing the mats what Joe didn't took. At one point Joe removed all the metal ore from the furnace and added some sulfur, I asked him what is the sulfur for he said he needs ammo. We had an ammo box since day 2 with over 1k ammo of both 55 and pistol which he doesn't know about. Since he found ammo he agreed that I can add the metal back. After like one hour I came home that sulfur is smelting again. This time he was preparing for a raid and he said we dont need metal frags rigth know anyway. I just told him that I do need it for the new base.

    I was almost done when he asked where are all the metalfrags because he needs "some". I visited the box and he took around 6k. That was the final straw. I asked him why does he need that much, and the answer was we still have a lot more coming. I told him "I am tired of this shit" and rage quit the game and the call. He pmd me later asking "what shit?". I didn't answered.

    I joined the server next evening I was killed with a stone spear by Joe, removed from the group and all my bags were destroyed. Took a long walk back to the base and I realized the whole base now is surrounded with wooden high walls. Tried the usual code to enter but it was changed. I was so fuking angry. Then I tried the magic 1379 and it worked.

    I managed to get into the base and done what they deserved(?). Basically I despawned every item in the base, every box, everything which I was able to pick up. Killed both with the stone spear, destroyed all the bags, changed every code on every door then cleared the TC auth.

    That happened yesterday and now I feel super bad about it. I am nothing like that. That is how rust made me an asshole.

    Personally I havnt really found a use for it, I dont have a item I craft enough to where it wont show up in the quick craft menu but its easier for me to go to a tab I made for it, its much easier to just search it. I find this tab to be basically useless.

    Does anyone have an accurate estimate for how long minicopters will remain indoors before exploding?

    Just wondering if there's really any value in building a minicopter hangar if they're just going to despawn in a few hours. Sure, I can use it while online but I'd like to be able to just keep one stashed away so I don't have to run the map to find one again.
