(Suggestion) Make electrical components craftable with metal frags instead of HQM

    Posted: 08 Oct 2019 04:02 PM PDT

    Greetings!

Well, its very simple, just change the crafting resources needed to make electrical stuff to metal, instead of HQM.

But why? Well, i'm usually a solo/small group player on officials, and i usually like to use electric stuff to protect our base, or to make fun trap stuff. The thing is, everything consumes HQM, and even a small circuit with a few solar pannels, not even wind turbines can go up to 300+ HQM. With honestly, considering that electricity itself is not that used, or even a high tier mechanic, that's a lot of HQM, specially for a solo/duo/trio, as for getting so much would force you to recycle a lot of important stuff or farm metal nodes until you can't count anymore.

Another good reason, is that often when you're starting, you find a damn lot of electrical components at boxes. And considering that the majority of people don't even know how to use it, or just lack interest on the mechanic itself, HQM that it gives by recycle its not that useful at the start. But if they were actually worth metal frags, they would be way more useful, as those frags can be crucial for those first doors, crossbows or codelocks.

Electrical components need to be cheaper to be viable

    Posted: 08 Oct 2019 01:40 PM PDT

With more and more electrical components being added like the tesla coil, there are more clever and intuitive ways to create working circuits. The biggest problem that I have (not being part of a clan/zerg but rather a small group) is that circuits that I want to implement (oil rig alarms, turret systems, SAM sites) cost an absurd amount of HQM and even tech trash.

Some of the example circuits that I mentioned cost over 100 HQM to make. One. Hundred. Now, as a smaller group, would I rather use 100 hqm to make ONE circuit (that provides a small luxury with small gameplay benefits), or would I rather make 2 AKs (or several MP5s/bolts)? to have the opportunity to snowball this into more loot?

I LOVE the idea of having electricity in the game that explores creative uses of circuits that can do really cool stuff. It just adds a whole new depth of gameplay. A huge issue I find is that it's just not worth it right now to spend all of this HQM for something that provides little benefit when you can instead make several high-tier guns that can influence entire wipes.

    Does anyone feel similarly?

These monthly updates feel like an expansion in a MMORPG

    Posted: 08 Oct 2019 08:50 AM PDT

Seriously, every single monthly update is something completely brand new and feels like a whole new game. Sure there was a couple of small tweaks monthly updates, but for the most part it's always something brand new each month in game. What game company does that? Nobody I tell ya!
