    Rust tip: You can break your L2 Workbench cheaply with a shotgun trap

    Buddy taught me this one a while ago. If you want to break your Level 2 to place a Tier 3, simply aim a shotgun trap at the workbench and deauth yourself on the TC.

    Once deauthed you can smack and bait the shotgun trap into shooting. It is the most cost effective way to break the workbench.

    A friend and I are considering the game. I've seen some YouTube videos such as weylens(spelt right? Idk) and it looks pretty good, but it seems like a game where you jump on one night, get a pretty good base up, then come back the next night and it's all destroyed by raiders. In my head it seems like any progress would keep being nullified by the time you come back. Thought I'd ask people who actually play it though. Thanks in advance.

    A few years ago someone crated this image. Im posting now to see what people think of the idea again.

    Running round geared or not animals can be a pain in the arse. I think they should add a Tranq in as it will help others to silently disable an animal so you can either farm them or run past them. there is nothing more annoying when you need to get from a to b rather quietly and a bear gets agro on you, this way you just pull out the Tranq 1 shot puts them to sleep for 15 seconds or so enough time to do what you need to do. Can be a Lvl 1 item but would cost semi body, springs and frags, and maybe like mushrooms and frags for the darts?

    so my PC isn't high end but I wouldn't say it's terrible, however I struggle to hit 60fps consistently and it kinda sucks, just posting here to see if anyone has similar specs and is able to maybe share some tips, I've done most optimization guides that I've seen but nothing really changes

    i7 4790, 16gb ddr3, gtx 1070 and rust on an SSD

    most of my settings are pretty bad, nothing I do really seems to increase my fps

    I'm aware that my cpu and ddr3 only being 1600 is probably bottlenecking me I'm just asking if anyone has any tips

    QoL Suggestion Thread

    Let me start by saying this isn't a Facepunch hate thread in any way just mainly the suggestions we all want to see in pending updates now that Facepunches Rust team is bigger i feel some fixes, imbalances, and monuments need to be changed and want a general consensus of what other think as well, put your suggestion,nerfs,buffs below, everyone remembers the QoL update it felt good to see issues fixed i think its time for another 1 before moving forward

    Bugs

    ​

    1. Bow Bug, This bug still exists for months now, delay on 2nd reload arrow for the bow
    2. Military Tunnels, This is filled with lighting bugs and issues, Scientists shoot through the ground surrounding military tunnels as well and scientists loot is mediocre
    3. Reload Bug, Sometimes your weapon will reload show the full animation but not count as a actual reload.
    4. Ghost Body Bug, You see players in game not in that actual location, makes PvP imbalanced.

    These are the bugs i can think of that effect me daily if you have anymore you can think of feel free to comment below.

    Monuments

    ​

    1. Fix being able to fly to the top of Trainyard, Power, and Water treatment, to bypass puzzles, these monuments feel useless anytime you try to actually do a puzzle its looted by Maverick in his mini.
    2. (Optional) Add SAM Site to the top of dome, this will be a mixed discussion, but when you used to parkour dome for the crates it was so fulfiiling now most people havent scaled dome since the release of helis has made the monument rather stale.
    3. Add atleast 1 Elite Crate to each tier 2 monument,(Trainyard,Power,Airfield - Behind Puzzles) most smaller groups will live tier 2 monuments the most they can get is tier 2 loot or if there lucky something decent out of a military crate. and i know that most people will say well its tier 2 not a tier 3 monument but on a high pop server as a solo or smaller medium sized group your not going to be able to contest tier 3 loot at bigger monuments, most people i know go on servers on Wednesday to get BP's.
