Me and some naked pushed a boat up here without saying a word to each other and then he killed himself. Gotta love this game. (also I thought it made a pretty cool background)
I played this game for a while but never knew the in game description for rocket launchers
They said we couldn't RP on a Rust PvP server...I think we did quite good

Rust Trebuchet

We have horse armour, so let's get medieval up in this bitch. We should have a rust trebuchet that can be placed like those quarries we used to have, maybe a bit of set up time and it should cost 1,000 stone to fire or something similar. Players would have to sit in it to use it like a minicopter.

Proper heating system!

Anyone else think rust should add proper heating systems. So instead of a fire instantly heating a certain radius of area. The WHOLE room will slowly heat up, so there won't be any cold spots in the corner of the room. The same thing applies but with coolers if you wanted to keep cool.

If you were in the snow and your base was warm and you opened every door to the outside your base would than drop in temperature.

Using the default rust servers config files, nothing special going on. client.connect localhost:28015 doesn't work, and replacing localhost with the IP of my laptop still doesn't work.

Hey there.

Coming back after a long 6 month hiatus from Rust. I found a good server that is populated, but within hours I was raided.

So i'm asking this. Has anyone dedicated themselves to creating bases around a map filled with nothing but doors and walls? I've considered doing this just to get raiders to waste resources breaking in to profitless bases, but I thought it would be a good way to practice my building skills.

Has anyone else done this? Has the server gotten pissed at you?

Is there anything in the ruled against this?

Apparently it's either fun.. or funny for a clan to all agree to spam the global chat at the same time. On a server with 250 players.. this turns the global chat into a shit-show pretty fast. I'd like to have a /mute command that we can issue as players to remove the chat messages from players that have abused the global chat or become an annoyance. We shouldn't have to turn off global chat entirely because a handful of people abuse it.

I'm sorry but imagine choking down a pumpkin a second in the middle of a gunfight. I realize it's a game, but this is silly.

Food should just give you calories and you start to slowly heal up after you haven't taken damage for a while. (Maybe once recipes are in it reduces the time until you start healing.)
