What are some good youtube/twitch channels and or websites to learn about rust for beginners? Posted: 23 Dec 2019 07:11 PM PST Specifically, what method(s) did you find helpful in learning about the game? Or did you find just playing and learning as you go to be more effective. Petition to nerf snow biome or buff fires inside base Posted: 23 Dec 2019 08:00 AM PST I get it. Snow = cold. but I shouldn't have to be decked out in snow gear and stand by a fire 24/7 to not die inside my base. Atleast allow stone fireplaces to warm X amount of floor tiles and Y amount vertical tiles. If I dedicate half of a square tile in my 2x2 to a fireplace let that beeeech warm my whole base up. Safest way to drop supply signals? Posted: 23 Dec 2019 04:43 PM PST Tried using a supply signal on my roof, and suddenly the whole server, their parents, their dog, and the president of the United States came over. One guy landed on my roof to take it and camped our doors. Is there a safer way to do these? [link] [comments]

Posted: 23 Dec 2019 02:05 PM PST After a 7 or 8 year hiatus from PC gaming, it looks like I'm going to jump right back down this rabbit hole. I have a decent setup but the GPU is definitely not going to run Rust, which is one of two games I'm thinking of spending my time on. So, I want to spend about $120 on a GPU, but I am so removed from this world that I don't know what's good anymore. Can I get any suggestions? The rest of my setup:
Thoughts? Thanks for the help, all. [link] [comments]
Posted: 23 Dec 2019 08:41 PM PST I7 3.4ghz 16gb ram 250gbSSD 1070 gpu I have over 800 hrs in on this computer and out of nowhere now it locks up on server loading screen. I contacted Facepunch and they gave me no answers. Curious If anyone has suggestions. I have cleared my ram cache, redownloaded game twice. Updated EAC. No new hardware or software. Issue started around the Christmas update. [link] [comments]
