The "Multiple Vending Machines" map maker gives their shop owners a disadvantage. Posted: 07 Feb 2020 06:45 PM PST When you have multiple vending machines in a small area, the map marker goes from bright green to a dull transparent black marker with a number in the middle. This makes it harder for people viewing the map to easily identify these kind of shops. [link] [comments]

How to get gud at pvp (if you don’t know about bekermelks or Ukn you need to read this) Posted: 07 Feb 2020 08:11 AM PST If you truly want to get better at pvp here is my suggestion. The first thing with any pvp game is to lower your sense if it is too high. Ideal dpi is between 800 and 400 and a low sense like 0.8-0.3 if your dpi is like 1200 it will feel like moving a brick If you switch dpi. This is the most important thing if you want to get better at pvp in any pc game The basics of pvp in rust starts with the bow. The bow is the catalyst of all other weapons in the game. If you get good with the bow you will win way more fights and get more gear and faster. The best way to get good with the bow is to go on a bow training server like bekermelks (it's under modded). Then practice on that server every time you are about to play rust for about 15 mins to an hour until you feel warmed up. For an added challenge take off all your armor and fight people naked. It forces you to be more accurate and forces you to master strafing and being unpredictable. You will get clapped a lot but as you use it more and more you will become a better bow pvper. This technique got me from being mediocre with bow to becoming a bow god at 1.2k hours (I started at 900). Once you master bow the rest of the weapons will follow. Use Ukn or any other gun training server to learn the recoil of the guns you want to use. (I prefer learning sar and the smgs first, then ak) to master recoil of any gun use a 8x scope then spray for maybe 5-10 minutes (the longer the better) with music or whatever in the background then take it off and you will be a laser beam. This may take about a month of 30 minutes sessions about 3 times a week. You should also play FFA and other mini game to help a little with game sense. The previous part was to help with aim but that is only 35-40% of being a good pvper the rest is game knowledge. This would include knowing how to fight and loot inside monuments, where to position in fights, how to fight in a team etc.. The best way to developer this in my opinion is playing solo. When you play solo your game sense I enhanced at about 5x the rate at which playing in a Zerg or large group. When you play solo you feel the loss of you mistakes much much faster. You have nobody else to lean on except yourself when you die there is nobody to blame but yourself and your skill. so you treat every fight with a focus and intent you don't see in players who play in larger groups. You also even learn how to win 1v3s and even 1v5s (on official servers) [link] [comments]
