    Auto-Turret Kill Times (February 7th, 2020)

    So I had some time on my hands and I decided why not? These are all the guns that you can put into an auto-turret tested against a full-metal set. (Metal Facemask, Metal Chestplate, Hoodie, Roadsign gloves, Roadsign Kilt, Pants, Boots) The target ran down a 1x10 (foundations) path zig-zagging towards the turret. If the target reached the turret they would turn around and run back until out of turret's range. However, if the player ran out of turret's range before death that would be considered a Did not kill. No heals were allowed during the test. (100 ----> 0) Assume standard ammunition was used unless specified. Oh and don't use the turrets as shotgun traps, they are actually horrible with shotguns someone can run past it without it even shooting.

    i hate cheater as much as every players ! and as a developper i know how its hard to make a good anticheat.

    But i had an idea today to do an anticheat. for the aimbot side of any kind of cheat.

    We know this part of a cheat, use overlay or injection to scan the DirectX video output to detect modelt in 3D scene on screen, then detect Hitbox 3D model of a player to show it on screen true wall and use the cursor input to move it to a spécified point of the HitBox . and lock it when it move.

    So the cheat detect player and lock it.

    Why not use it ? just add fake player (model + hitbox + ID . like real player) and invisible for the player (but visible in DirectX output) every where or random spawn in the scene or in the terrain. to lure the cheat.

    Or something like an invisible sphere , move around the player. and get the same Maker as a real player. So if a cheater use a cheat, his AIMbot lock the sphere instade of a player or swap to it.

    So we can instant detect a cheater or verify it (for miss fire on the sphere)

    its somethings to work or just thinking and i know EAC work on a good Anticheat. but i know bad people do fuc\** cheat .

    So i think some time , how to detect cheater… i just share this stupid idea

    How do you remove server kill feeds from the hud in the Cinematic branch of Rust?

    I've been trying to record a video on Bxr's server and got the clips but the kill feed on the top left for the server is in the way and removing hud doesn't get rid of it. How do I remove it in console command, and is there even a way to remove it?

    Nostalgia is for real

    I was messing around with my settings the other day and saw the music setting turned all the way down. Turned it up and the nostalgia was for real. It reminds me of the good old days where I had like 100 hours and lived out of a 1 by 2, and thought that a revi was a sacred weapon. Tbh I miss those days.

    They have been a nightmare for ages. Hitting trees with a rock is painful. The time it takes to finish an entire tree is not worth the wood you get...

    Remove X's and allow free hitting of trees once again. The better tool you have, the more wood you receive per hit. Finishing the whole tree gives you a bonus amount. Subject to balancing.

    Big Oil Rig Sphere question

    Being Asian Is Hard In Rust Game?

    I am from India. I used to watch rust games on youtube before buying it on steam. My problem is it is not exactly what I was looking for. for example, YouTubers/streamers usually talk to other players in English. I feel communication is the most important part of the game to have fun but in the Asian server, no one does that and even if they do it some local language that I cant understand. I couldn't able to make any friends via the game, I felt like being isolated, everyone I see wants to end my life in 0.00001 seconds without giving a chance to say "hello". I know this game is about survival but I don't get the same fun as YouTubers used to get, at least they got some chance to interact with other players before open fires. If anyone can help me find some English servers, that will be good.
