Posted: 10 Dec 2020 07:32 PM PST Hello, I have a question. When in-game everything looks great except whatever I'm holding, I bought some skins for the guns/tools but since the modals look of poor quality I can't see the design (they look smooth and undetailed) I was wondering which setting I have to increase to make the models appear a bit better? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]

Is the visual and the procgen update still coming to Rust or no? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 09:54 PM PST FP posted some photos last year of Rust with different visuals and with a more natural terrain. Is there still hope for that to come to Rust or has it been shelved? [link] [comments]

Monuments that are noob friendly? Posted: 10 Dec 2020 11:07 AM PST Me and my brother play duo together and let's just say we pvp like blind people. I usually try to do harbor runs but I was wondering if any other fellow awful players have a favorite monument to build near that helps. We just want to start to get better items and I don't think harbor is the way to do that. Thanks for any responses. [link] [comments]
Tips for nerves for a newer player. Posted: 10 Dec 2020 06:10 AM PST Hello all. Been playing rust for about 50 hours. Ive watched the content for probably a year and just recently have been able to play/run the game. Ive played fps games for probably over 10 years and have above average aim, game sense, and reactions. Of course it can be improved and I lack experience with weapon skill and rust in general. But my biggest issue by far.. is my nerves. Any time I go into a pvp situation my nerves are just debilitating. It causes me a lot of issues and some of it is partially IRL stuff I wont mention. But I can go into a gun play server and do fine, no nerves and actually do pretty well. I got into a fight today at lighthouse, where the guy had the high ground on me so I assumed I wasnt going to win the fight and retreating wasnt an option at that moment. I ended up almost killing him, but the entire time my nerves were just pounding. Like almost panic attack levels. I didnt lose much, a few meds, a hazmat, and a custom. Not a big deal. But afterwards I sat in base and had to log off because the nerves were so bad. Ending up talking to the guy in chat and ggs were said and everything was good. Just looking for some tips to combat this stuff. I know general experience will help, but its hard for me to even get the experience when after one fight, I end up logging because of how bad it is. I will say that IRL stuff is playing a part in my anxiety. But if anyone has any general tips or can help somehow, i would appreciate it. Im playing on a lower pop solo only server to begin with, and im living on the coast pretty far from any action just due to this fact. [link] [comments]
