    The Tech Tree update has been out for a little over a week now, and I assume most of you have had a chance to test and play with it a bit - So lets discuss!

    Mostly looking for any input on the update and new system:

    • What do you like/What don't you like?
    • Is this system balanced?
    • What would you change/add?

    If you are suggesting a change or adjustment, please try and be as descriptive/professional as possible. Also remember to keep this thread specific to the Tech Tree update.

    hello,

    just wondering if anyone knew if there was an update to crossbreeding.

    I have had issues with plants not crossbreeding while doing the 50/50 method.

    I will always have a nearly perfect plant(3y3g, just my preference) and it won't ever crossbreed the last letter that I need.

    So i see 2 bow guys, first one headshot me from far away with a fire arrow on his first shot, i crouch and heal a bit as you can see, then his other buddy naked with a bow, hit me again with a fire arrow on the arm, im very close to 50 hp and im dead. So 2 fire arrows can kill you? eventhough i used a bandage and 1 sirengy, and what are those genercis on area and weapon n/a damage?????

    Toggle flashlight bind

    bind mouse1 +attack2;+lighttoggle

    This bind automatically turns on the flashlight when you aim down sights and I like that but sometimes I don't want my flashlight to turn on. So I'm trying to find a way to make a bind that activates another bind (bind l bind mouse1 +attack2 !NOT WORKING!) I want this to bind mouse1 to aim down sights while not turning on the flashlight but I'm not an expert with rust console so this is obviously not working. So if you have any ideas how to make this work please hand them to me :)

    How to let Rust use more of my PC resources?

    I generally get good fps, around 70 stable. But when doing larger raids or so, I'd notice drops to about 40 to 50 fps staying there until there's less load.

    But during this time.. I check my cpu and gpu usages are both around 50 percent. Theoretically I should get double the fps with proper utilization. Does anyone know of ways to let Rust use more of my Gpu and Cpu during intense situations like large raids or visiting bandit camp?
