This is acually really helpfull! I recommend this whole series for getting the monument grind faster!
Wanted to do dives but didn't have a boat, problem solved itself.
I’m happy with my personal base design
So I’ve been offlined the 3rd day in a row
New to rust Practicing scope spraying lol
I upgraded the base by adding a external tc, 6 turrets, 2 windmills, 2 large furnaces, a large water collection, hatches to roof, and a few garage doors on a wall for mini landing. I’m open to advice

So I’ve been offlined the 3rd day in a row

Day 1

I started playing Rust a lot on Wednesday, and we (me and my team) took over a random base (we didn't know what design it was) near oxums and train yard and fishing village. There was a massive Zerg base North of us, by like two to three grids, and we stayed weary to not go next to it and not even be online when they were, to not piss them off.

Because of our proximity to fishing village (one of the two), we ended up killing a lot of solos and duos. We didn't actually get a whole lot from them, only things like red keys and, at one singular moment, a bolty.

We made quiet a bit of progress, and we had SAR bp, so we got guns easily. We upgraded the core to sheet metal, and got off for the night. Quiet a bit of work done in one day, right?

Day 2

We have been offline raided. However, these were really generous raiders. They left all of our clothing and car parts so we could easily bounce back. We built a new base 2 grids south of oxums, and we built the Vulcan (we are a very clumsy 4 man). Throughout the day, we got roofcamped by a bolty, doorcamped and grubbed, but in the end we got through the day only loosing one sar kit. We ended up building a medium sized compound before we got off.

Day 3

We've been offlined again. We decided to switch servers. We built on a small island, only near a lighthouse. We kicked of the current inhabitants and took over a 3x3 ( don't ask me why it's a 3x3). We soon built a Vulcan nearby. Day 3 was the day of most progress. We built the Vulcan to the final stage, and got a massive compound down. We even did a bit of role playing! We became the "Akawaka" people of the island, and built the akawaka navy (we brought three boats from fishing village) and put the navy in a boat base. If the boat base got offlined, I'd understand because it was wooden and extremely easy to get into. We built the Vulcan again, and got our friend on to help with outer tcs (because we couldn't figure out how to do them) and help build the compound. We got plenty of garage doors and sealed essentially everything. The only problems were the wood shutters, we didn't have the bp for a window, so we had to leave it alone as shutters.

Day 4

I haven't personally gotten on, but my friends told me we got raided. Through the windows. And then raided through the garage doors we had. I still don't know what they've taken, but we need to restart again.

Most of us have only 200-300 hours, so getting a compound down on day one is really good. But we've always gotten raided. Offline raided.

One of us has already "rage" quit and started playing Minecraft. I'm considering doing so as well.

Thanks for reading this rant, but getting offlined every day is really painful.

Tl;dr fairly new five man to the game, got offlined 3 days in a row, even keeping our distance from most players

I'm a little new at the game,and i've been playing in a monthly official server,the server has like 10 days, and now it's very hard to progress, what can I do?.(I want to play in this server but its NO BP WIPES)
