- My first time playing rust
- I've been playing rust for all of 2 hours... Just starting to learn the ropes, and then THIS happens.
- Electrical question: What would I add/change to allow the memory cell to activate more than one pump? In other words, can I expand to 30 sprinklers without duplicating the electrics five times?

Spawned in on the beach, started gathering wood and such. Got some stuff from a decayed base, which was nice. Met some other player, they seemed fairly nice. Asking me about what I had on me, if they could have anything. They scroll past a spear. Suspicion.exe has started playing rust. Starts spear crafting. Asks more about what I have. Spear has 3 sec left. They scroll past spear again. Spear is done. So are they. Start attacking, get stuck running circles around rock trying to stab him. Actually stab him. He's down, talking but I don't really care. Opens chat. "The game was rigged from the start" throws spear in face. Break down body and head down beach to campfire I had to make for the beginning quest thingy to cook meat. Another player comes up a while later. Won't leave me alone. Take out spear and stab in general direction to drive away. Won't take the hint. Night falls and I'm standing by the fire, idiot with a death wish still there. Idiot #2 appears. They keep getting closer every time I move away, take out spear for scare tactics and the still keep coming. Start a 1v2 knowing full well imma die. Don't die. Kill them both, break body and start cooking more meat. Keep farming, breaking barrels and go in land to look for a place to build. And then get sniped from a tower with a full inventory of components. I've been watching rust for years on YT and figured this would happen, but dang. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:40 AM PDT I have less than 100 hours in the game and just wanted to have fun and meet new ppl I used the official discord and found a group. We built up for 3 days had been raided each day but on the 4th we had some luck building a cave base and even picked up an AK left from a fight we were set with auto and shotgun turrents and a T3 workbench when I logged of for the day. A teammate let's call Jon wanted to keep playing when we all got off and in doing so invited a player to join him without asked the rest of us. Jon gave this player new guns and armor and of course the door codes… this led to Jon being killed with an AK the team gathered supplies for and losing the base that I mainly built. The rest of the team got on the next day to see our base locked down like Fort Knox and our sleeping bags gone. Jon admitted his fault but said the player would give it back if we built him items and only if it was Jon to do so, we told Jon to wait and get the codes first before building them anything and then just trade it to them. Jon ignored all of our request to think before doing anything and ended up giving this player and now his team our base, all the materials we gathered, and all the BP that team could ever want. Our team failed due to one man who lacked common sense. If there is a lesson to be learned don't give the dumb ass of the team door codes. to the player who played dumb Jon, GG [link] [comments] | ||

| Rust crash/mouse lag on startup Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:20 PM PDT So I wanted to play rust a bit after a while and I installed the game and I'm met with this, I have tried digging around but I haven't found a fix to my issue anywhere, any help appreciated thanks! I believe it might have something to do with EAC but I'm not entirely sure what's causing it, I heard there was an update for banned mice although I have a Steelseries Rival 300 which shouldn't be blacklisted so I'm stumped. | Posted: 14 Apr 2020 10:16 PM PDT Hear me out, yes I know you can already put a pumpkin on your head but at the moment they provide no protection value what so ever. I believe pumpkins should give 5-10 ranged protection to the head area when worn, since you are sacrificing potential food and health just so you can wear it. [link] [comments] |
