    Repaying the favor (Story)

    I hopped on a duo server to show my friend how to play the game. We kept dying over and over to AK kids and could never get something down. Finally we ran across some kind souls who took pitty on us and gave us cloth for bags and bows and a raided base to take over.

    Later that night they got off and some AK kit came to my door asking me to not counter as they raid the nice bois who helped us. I agreed and as they went to go get boom i found the nice bois usernames and added them quickly and told them what was going on. They got on as they were getting raided. I distracted the AK kits and they died and lost the raid.

    The AK dudes then camped me and asked why i betrayed them and all i told them was. "I was repaying the favor."

    Fast forward an hour later and the nice bois i saved bought me a game on my wishlist because i saved their base

    Who knew rust could have good people in it?

    Please do not make boats mainly purchasable.

    In my opinion should, Rust should remain a SURVIVAL (thank you taser) focused game. It makes zero sense to lock boats behind a scrap paywall as they dont negatively affect progression, it feels like rust is now becoming a farming simulator revolving around gathering scrap.

    The shops also make no logical sense to be on the island, i mean, why do these people want scrap when they have boats, guns, helicopters, farming supplies, etc.

    I feel like instead of forcing staged progression, they should just let players make there own progression using their own wit and skill, instead of making them grind to get to places like oil.

    I could probably go on for hours on this subject but I would rather here your thoughts so i can get both sides.

    So, we have alarms.. and lights.. and irrigation systems.. my suggestion is this.

    INTERCOMS.

    something that we can access via rust plus.

    This would allow you to talk to teammates in game remotely.. or flame the kids raiding you .. either way fun as hell!

    Just for clarification.. a push to talk in app controller. Not a continuous onslaught of noise. ( Similar to how remote traps operate )

    You would find or craft one, place it, and then run electricity through it. You could then sync it to your rust app!

    Random FPS Drops

    I'm getting random fps drops. I've had the game for a year yet this is the first time its happening. I usually get 120 fps on medium graphics but recently my fps has been dropping to as low as 20 for short intervals. Does anyone know the cause of this / a potential fix? I get good fps on every other game and I've been running rust fine for a while.

    Anyone been raided during a roam?

    So I went out to roam for like 15 minutes, gathered loot and recycled frantically made it back to my? base and couldn't open the door. Five seconds later the door opened and for a second I thought it was lag but then a man came out with a double barrel shotgun and obliterated me. Now I'm on the beach with nothing but a rock to my name.

    Make Boats/Helis Sellable

    With the new update bringing boats to a Vendor as well as Helis, why not make them sellable for half or a 3rd of the price bought for? Would make stealing things a little more spicy and worthwhile.

    For example a Solo player steals a groups RHIB whilst they are doing Oil, they can then sell it for 200 Scrap at the Vendor.

    Or even for a Heli, if someone steals a groups Mini/Scrap they can then make a lot of Scrap off of the venture.
