Posted: 01 Aug 2020 10:06 AM PDT If you haven't played since legacy, and are fairly new to rust as of 1-2 years ago. I highly recommend watching videos from legacy and the early stages of rust. To truly appreciate the work the devs have put in to make this game what it is. The incentives you guys have put in to actually pull people out of their base. From scrappers, to Oil Rig, to Crates, to trash spawns on roads, to safe zones, heli, Bradley, puzzles, trash piles in water, diving for sunken loot, etc. has amazed me and are all amazing additions to the game. For those that don't know, you used to be able to just sit on your roof and you could progress to end game. There were no incentives to even leave your base if you didn't want to. Roof camping used to be WAY worse. You'd just farm Bp scraps and hit the research table until you had all BP's. Or farm rad animals until you had all necessary BP's. There was nothing that incentivized player encounters. Now, the CREATIVITY that has been added to this game since launch is INSANE. Electricity? Gardening? Horses? Boats? Fireworks? Pools? A fuckin app on your phone that you can control your base from? Helicopters? Shops? Are all absolutely amazing additions that make rust feel far and apart from any other game out there. There is more I can talk about but I don't wanna make this too long. Devs you are doing an amazing job and are honestly the best dev team I've ever seen. Keep up the great work. As for new players who think this game is shit and has flaws. You have no idea some of the shit you are lucky enough not to have played with. That's not your fault, and of course the game can keep improving. But it will, from what I've seen over the last 7 years, this Dev team will deliver on everything. Just give them time. Anyone remember a clan from legacy days that was ruled by dickdangles? Posted: 01 Aug 2020 06:02 PM PDT Taking a shot in the dark. This was back in 2014 or 15 days of legacy. There was this huge group and the leader was dickdangles. I feel like there must be one user who lurks on here still. I will soon be able to play games again once I finish this house remodel. I want to get way back into rust. P.S If any group is picking up members, I wouldn't mind getting help back into it. [link] [comments] | ||
