    Look, I get if if the cars are broken. I understand that tea isn't for everyone. I accept that mixing is a different thing that might be cool. I appreciate what they tried to do with water guns. But what I can't understand is WHY CAN I NOT THROW HORSE POOP AT PEOPLE?

    Honestly, it would be such a small addition and you KNOW it would be utterly hilarious and never not be funny.

    Tea or Narcotics

    I feel Tea is a poor theme for potion buffs in Rust. I think Narcotics with side effects including addiction and withdrawal would better fit Rust for both purposes of gameplay and atmosphere.

    Narcotics fit the theme of Rust. They are dark and edgy in a realistic way. They are a timeless vice and infamous dark side to humanity. On an island without laws, it would make sense for gangs to fight for control over the drug trade. Survivors coping with the horror of the island would abuse drugs for both advantages and as an escape from the hopelessness of their predicament.

    At a gameplay level, addiction and withdrawal can be designed to offset the benefits of drug use.

    Tea feels like a euphemism for drugs. I feel like the idea began as a drug system, but as the idea evolved, it lost its hard edges and turned into something one sips in the cute house they built in a meadow. They are OP buffs because they offer only overt advantages without disadvantages.

    Would you prefer the Tea System as it currently exists to go live or would you prefer a Narcotic system with more depth?

    It's me with my newest stupid question.

    So, I snagged a locked crate and got an air supply. Popped it on my roof and an eternity later I had it.

    There was a stone spear abd set of wood armor. That seems kind of weird. I wasn't expecting 5 AKs, but something comparable to the locked crate. There was a few useful items in there, but not a lot.

    Were my expectations far too high or did I have poor luck?

    Slug shotguns: The completely useless loadout

    Back when rust was in 2017, slugs from a waterpipe could one chest shot hazmats even from long range.

    Now, from anything more than 10m, shotgun slugs can't even one shot headshot a hazmat. They literally do less damage than 9mm at about 100m and travel slower too.

    Why one earth would I take a shotgun which is less accurate than an SAP, put a scope on it, load only 6 rounds in it with crazy expensive slugs that cost more than 5.56, about the same as HV cost, that only does 16 damage at long range to a hazzie?

    That's honestly just trolling. Slugs need a damage buff so bad, in fact, IRL they are DESIGNED to maintain velocity due to their sheer mass and momentum as a result.

    Slugs need a HUGE buff if they are to be used in anything more than fun naked shootouts.

    If anything, this ammo should be called the sabot. Even then, the damage should still at least be doubled for all these ranges.

    Its complete bs after the waterpipe nerf to downtune the slugs to such an unusable extent.

    I always end up with 1 base to live/store loot (triangle foundations) and one with square ones for vehicles/farm/watchtower/take heli down/etc
