Unpopular Opinion: Low pop server players 10x sweatier than high pop server players Posted: 25 May 2021 04:27 PM PDT anyone who i come across on servers like Rustoria, rusticated, rusty moose, etc seems to be a normal human being and log off the game for at least 8 hours a day minimum. however on NOOB friendly servers and low pop servers, typically solo ones but not only them, kids are online, actively playing (not afk) for no exaggeration at least 20+ hours in a 24 hour day the entirely weekly wipe. ive playing with a friend from the UK who is brand new on some Noob friendly duo community server and this one duo has not logged off for the entire wipe and it wipes again tomorrow. theyve raided every single base on the server and each have 4k+ hours each. they arent that good and only offline people. i countered one of their raids and killed both of them, am offlined the next time i log on. i have never experienced anything even close to this on any big server that is supposedly toxic and sweaty. have seen it on other low pop servers but not to this extent. anyone have an explanation for this? youd think it be the exact opposite. only thing i can think off is that got ran so hard off of some competitive server so they resorted to this to boost their egos. thanks for reading submitted by /u/Historical-Tutor1926 [link] [comments]

How does one even? Posted: 25 May 2021 07:10 PM PDT A little bit of back story, I was doing some upgrades on my base and a guy ( id seen arguing in chat with one of his team mates who had apparently insided him) said for me to come out so he could give me some loot, as he was leaving the server. So I did and he dropped me a full ak kit and a bunch of meds. I said thanks and we went our separate way, no big deal. About 10-15 min later hes back outside and asks me to open the door and let him one door in, he wants to give me more loot. As he'd already given me a full kit I figured I could trust him so, I opened the door and let him in. We talked for a min and he said ok, im out enjoy! and he killed himself....I have never seen this much HQM in my life..(I play solo as i dont get much time to play usually) This is an official facepunch server making it even more ridiculous... I was expecting like some lowgrade, sulfur, meds maybe some sars, etc, Not an inv full of HQM. It's been almost a year since modular vehicles were released. Can we discuss the implementation? Posted: 25 May 2021 11:05 AM PDT Last summer modular vehicles (cars) were released into Rust. It's now almost summer again, and I'd like to see a discussion about the current state of them. Do you regularly use modular vehicles? Do you think the cost and time investment to get them going is worth the effort? Are you happy with the modules, or is there something missing? Do you think non-armored modules need a change? Are you happy with the decay settings? (4 hours in a base, not on a lift) Are the internal car parts fairly priced? (Cost to craft and cost to research) Are horses better? Do you think they need another pass at from the developers, or are they fine as they are?
