    So for all of the hubbub of the farming update, I find it so odd that compost and the composter are so thoroughly worthless and neglected. Out of curiosity, I was looking at the composter table since I wondered if the new fish were added to it, and every single fish, from sardines to sharks, compost for the same pitifully small amount of fertilizer (.8) with every other food item relegated to a measly .3, .2, or even less. The berries, from the update a mere three or four months after the farming update, compost for a laughable .01 fertilizer each, which makes even less sense because the tea update was essentially a companion update to farming as the berries relied on the farming changes.

    The compost concept as a whole comes across as woefully neglected; fertilizer is basically impossible to get in any reasonable or useful amount given how much input you need, and then to add insult to injury, the input amounts seem totally devoid of logic. Seeing how the new fish got added to the game and included in the compost table but all at the same value indicates that the devs have totally given up on this aspect of the game. They should either rebalance it to have the appearance of at least some semblance of thoughtfulness (which would take all of 5 minutes tweaking numbers in the composter table), rework it to mirror real-life composting and be reminiscint of the mixing table (mix varying amounts of plant material, horse dung, and other food) or just remove the concept of compost and fertilizer entirely. As it currently stands, it's a useless afterthought. The last time they seemingly thought about it beyond making things valid inputs was to nerf the "horse dung generation rate" into the ground which rang the death knell for the whole concept.

    This was what I researched a while back and its still the same way as today. ADS sent is FOV bound. If you ADS, more than likely its still 100% sens to what you see on screen, where I am used to 60%, for example. It would be nice to just have a dial to change the ADS sensitivity as one slider. (Individual weapon sens doesn't matter as much because it's FOV-bound, and it would be easy for a slider for ALL ADS sensitivities...)

    Its strange when I pick up a bow and I fly across the screen, then pick up a crossbow and feel like a slug...

    Why do fish get away randomly without the line actually breaking? Im in a boat in the middle of the frickin ocean standing right on the edge and it still happens.

    why is my fps so low

    recently re-bought rust to play it but when I launched it my fps is really choppy and low... I have done the lowest settings and the most recommended settings and no matter what its around 30 to 50 fps

    Being killed in bandit camp by players

    I had a question, I was playing console rust earlier today and was killed by a player in bandit camp and it was when I was using the recycler. Is this like a glitch because he didn't end up getting shot at by the guards or anything.

    Need help setting up a server

    Trying to find a decent website to host a modded rust server but can't find anything good.

    I'm trying to set something up for a video series but all I've gotten so far is shitty service providers where absolutely nothing works in their control panels, to include the actual server console.

    Are there any modded server owners here who might be able to help me? Just absolutely losing my mind with how stupid this process is right now and even youtube videos I'm finding aren't helping one bit.
