Posted: 27 Aug 2021 07:11 AM PDT Here is a post from Wayback Machine from 2017 Here are all the things that were promised in that past 2017
2018
2019
43 out of 61 roadmap items have been completed (70%) in the span of 5 years. Quite a nice batting average to be honest if you look back. And many other non-roadmap features were added too. [link] [comments]

I think Facepunch should add a finger over the lips "shhh" emote Posted: 27 Aug 2021 12:13 PM PDT Emotes are used as a means when incapable of speaking, so this definitely is the king of representing silence without making a noise. I can't tell someone to shutup in voice chat because it negates the purpose. [link] [comments]

What are your favorite building techniques in Rust? Posted: 27 Aug 2021 02:14 PM PDT Recently I was playing in a group with a well-known YouTuber and he completely ragged on me for my lack of building skills with my hours. It was humiliating and now all my friends think I'm a shitty builder. Technically, I am a shiity builder. But, I want to improve my building game. What are some building techniques that are generally overlooked by begginer/intermediate builders? I am looking for things that the average person wouldn't put together when building standard base designs. I understand basic concepts like external TC's, floor/wall stacking, bunkers, etc. Ever find anything that blew your mind and changed how you build? Free gold to whoever saves my reputation, we should be playing again Monday wipe. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Aug 2021 04:14 PM PDT So rust is using 11gb ram when it used to use about 8 or 9, im at the same server with my teammate and his only using 8, we have the same settings, any ideas why? [link] [comments]

Render distance is all crazy on new PC Posted: 27 Aug 2021 07:38 PM PDT Did something change in the last year or so? I haven't played Rust in awhile and got a new PC w/ a 3070 and pretty maxed out specs and I tried running around in Rust today and it seems like everything is loading randomly as I run past it. Objects super close to me were popping in, terrain far away was popping in, the whole game was basically mutating as I ran through it and it is insanely distracting, and kinda psychedelic. I've googled this to death but can't seem to find any real answers. [link] [comments] |
