    Trap base meta?

    So before I started playing Rust I used to love all these trap bases videos and when I actually started Rust, it was all I did but only for the first 2 or so wipes.

    But now, after playing for a long time, I found myself never again making hem, I always think to make one someday, but I just get lazy and go PvP instead or save the farm to upgrade my own base.

    Moreover, it's insane, but for over an year now, I have hardly come across 1-2 trap bases around the map, it's like a dead thing.

    So Iam curious as to how many of you actually make trap bases regularly and is it something I should get more into? Is this a meta Iam missing on?

    When writing a post, whether you're asking for advice or sharing a meme, please consider the title. There's a lot of posts here titled "Looking for advice", "What just happened" or similar.
    It's helpful to everyone if the title includes a more specific explanation of the problem, for example "I'm having trouble taking down a patrol helicopter, any tips?" or "Do you think the player in this video is cheating?"
    You'll get more clicks when describing the problem in the title and expanding on it in the post text and you are respecting other people's time by letting them know the general topic with a quick glance.
