My encounters on my first few times playing this game get better and better in such a weird way, the rust community can be so cool sometimes!
My friend and me have farmed a little bit to bust into the cave base of a toxic player on our server, he said his base is unraidable. We'll see...
Roofcampers grinds my gears
increased excavator output (750 sulfur, 5000 stone, 2000 metal frags)
Had a bit of fun meming people in vanilla & thought I’d make a short montage. First ever attempt at editing anything so it’s quite sloppy, but I had fun making it. Check it out if you want, or don’t.
Gun changes
70k stone upkeep and 17k metal upkeep. This is from like 5 months
Some things that I don't think are working as intended.
So you can't buy L96 anymore, that means less roof campers
Someone please tell my Mom you can’t pause a rust raid.
Do laser detectors detect opened doors or activated targets?

Gun changes

spas 12 has slightly higher fire rate

shotgun slugs are more accurate and do slightly more damage, but with a 50% falloff at 40m

m92 has slightly slower fire rate

simple sight is now a default blueprint

m39 now available at bandit camp instead of l96

bradley loot crate rebalance, higher chance for L96

bradley is more vulnerable to HV rockets

bradley top turret enabled

Crafting a Large Furnace next to a tier 3 results in no speed up.
Pants are tier 1 whereas Hoodie is tier 2 despite them both being "top tier" as far as clothing

Obviously unplayable. /s

What happened to the mini launch options screen before rust actually launched

I've been playing around in rust and realized my frames have tanked recently.

I used to be getting 90-100 frames on high settings but now I'm getting 40-60. I went to go change my pre-launch options and realized it wasn't showing up at all. I would click play on steam and it would instead go straight into the game.

Has a new update came out recently that removed the pre-launch options?

I would like to gather some information on how the excavator is being used. How often? What groups use it, Zergs or skilled groups? Is it a waste of space on the maps? I know it would be an extremely hard decision to remove it. But is there a real need to?
