Add MREs as an airdrop only food, they would give you full hydration and hunger and come in 2/6 items per airdrop stackable

    Pin Drops on Map

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 09:19 PM PST

Instead of a pin drop, I would suggest just a circle or something more accurate, it's difficult to mark very accurate locations with the current pin, as the pin point is hard to place correctly. Thoughts?

I get 40 and to do so I run my computer in a sensory deprivation chamber with nothing but the BIOS, boot loader and rust, I skip windows to preserve ram. I play on the lowest settings and may actually just be playing a paper Mario mod, and just haven't realized it. I also play on 600x900, or whatever looks like it fits on a Apple Watch

Instrument DLC (Everything You Need To Know About The Upcoming DLC)

So what are your thoughts on role playing?

Rust community is black and white. No grey area.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:00 PM PST

I bought a new $2000 PC after waiting 4 years and saving for the past 8 months of working at a salary of $300/month. (I am Indian) just so that i can play rust.

I started playing on a x2 vanilla server and made a base and died with the front door open. Almost everything was in my TC and it was placed behind Armored walls (a trick by which only users with building privilege can access TC) so they could not get anything much. So they broke my Level 1 workbench and renamed my bag to n****r.

While just half an hour after, i met a player who killed me, took my bow and arrows, picked me up and let me keep my farm (had 8k stone and 4k sulphur) and killed another solo in my area and did the same, said that we both were neighbors and should behave ourselves and be friends.

I cannot believe how people on the same server can be so polar apart.

Please dont be toxic, if you get deep on a base, take what you can and leave, dont destroy someones hardwork of several hours.

In all seriousness too much of this game is driving me crazy, but it’s like a drug..

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 04:58 PM PST

I've played games my whole life on and off and yes some I can play for 75% of the day nonstop but I'll take breaks to do stuff.

Rust is like no other game, no mmorpg, no FPS, nothing comes close I feel. It gives me an adrenaline rush like no other as well, when you are in that firefight against an enemy fighting for your life to make sure he's dead and not you so you can take his shit, it just makes my heart race 120+ bpm and I can feel it pumping out my chest.

I have a problem though, I've collected about 3,200 hours in the past year.(10-12 months) And the game is sorta taking over my life it's the only YouTube videos I watch and reddit I get on almost. I also like oldschool Runescape so I watch those vids and Reddit but I rarely play anymore. I've gone without leaving my house on an entire weekend playing Rust till 10am sleep then repeat. Getting off work and can't wait to get on.

It's just a very bad addiction and I don't think it's healthy. You get paranoid and honestly think the worse in people in real life. Because you see what kind of sick twisted shit people say and do in rust it really makes you think the world is like that, and it is in a way.... even you the player tends to be that kind of toxic person at times when you get angry or triggered , maybe.. Waking up , turning on pc and instantly on Rust within 5mins of waking isn't good for anyone and I need to take a step back and find new things for awhile. Work on my mental sanity in a way and get out more. Plus the people I play with haven't been as dedicated as I am, I have the time to play and push forward with progression like a bull and no one else shares the passion like I do, that's why I think I need a long break too.

Either way has anyone else had this issue? Whether it be this game or another, how did it mentally affect you playing it for 18+ hours a day on weekends and sometimes nonstop? Do you feel different

I truly and whole heartedly suck balls at this game...

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 11:17 AM PST

Just a little rant. I was just playing solo a moment ago. I finally made my first nailgun and I was pretty keen to try it out. I'd just been killed with a bow and arrow, so I thought that and upgrade was in order. So I made my new toy. I was gonna go out and try and find a local recycling area (to make use of all my scrappy bits and pieces and make some actually useful scrap from it).

While I'm out, I find this guy chopping down trees. Low tier gear (wooden armour) and a spear. I sneak up on him and open fire. I have some truly awful reactions and motor skills though, so like a complete moron, I forget how to hold down and fire. I miss every shot. Meanwhile spear boi meanwhile zig-zags and dodges every shot. Hits me twice with a spear throw. I forget how to reload. He kills me with his third spear (close-quarters this time) and takes my nailgun.

As my base is nearby, I quickly get my spare bow and make some arrows. I'm not thinking clearly because I want my nailgun back. I approach spear boi, but the terrain is giving him cover. He runs at me and my Windows 98 speed motor skills freeze up (as always). I get killed with the nailgun in a single burst without firing a single arrow.

I guess that the moral of this story is that despite having just under 100 hours in the game, I still suck balls at this game...

Does anyone else suck balls harder than I do? Let me know the comments and feel free to roast/offer gameplay tips.

    P. S. To top this all off, I originally posted this in the wrong subreddit too (r/rust). Bruh...

    Christmas Village

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 10:43 AM PST

My friend and I have a dream to build a Christmas themed village for the December wipe on a sweaty official server and invite all the clans and solos across the land to lay down their AKs and Eokas to share the holiday joy.

Me and the boys are about to buy rust

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:41 PM PST

After months of watching rust YouTube videos I've finally cracked, I somehow also got a bunch of my friends to buy it.

    A few questions

    Good servers to join?

    How to not get stomped?

    How to start a base?

Just any thing you think we need to know
