    Just got killed because I couldn't upgrade twigs. What the fucking fuck did I do wrong?

    New to the game. Basically i started building a base. Realized midway through that I wasn't able to upgrade every single twig wall to wood. Someone outside starts pickaxing. He kills me after breaking it down.

    I spawn on a sleeping bag near outpost. I start mining trees enough to get everything I need for a base. I go back to the old base and place down the wall where the other one was destroyed. I hear a voice say "IM BACK MOTHERFUCKER" and he starts shooting the last twig wall I sealed it off with. I place another one then try upgrading it to wood. I was able to hover over this option and it looked like it should've been clickable, but it wouldn't do anything when I pressed it. He then shoots me.

    Was this a glitch or did I do something wrong? I'm tired of repeatedly respawning just to waste 45 minutes then die, and then finally doing everything "right" and apparently not doing everything right.

    I legit uninstalled because I was so pissed off, and because it wasn't much of a learning experience because this is such a specific problem that google has no answers, so thats why I'm here.

    tl;dr: Why was I not able to upgrade the last wall I placed to wood before getting shot?

    How do i get guns and shit

    I have 700hours and still cant get guns / go outside my base without my friend carrying my ass, when i play solo i ma aways primlocked and best ive gotten solo was revolver from a crate at oxums anyone have tips

    Bought this game a week before it went on sale. I was playing high pop official servers at first and had no time to get my bearings but after joining a server that regularly has about 50/125 players, I have finally realized what an amazing game this is.

    The rush of doing scrap runs and finally getting two bases to go back and forth to has been the rush I've been looking for.

    I've been killed plenty of times so I really don't mind the grind.

    Worst part is the crybabies in chat trying to get people banned lol

    Just leant this thing, how good is it?

    I'm guessing it won't shoot me? And should I avoid putting it on my first door in case someone is there when I open it?

    Should I double them up on other doors? Or even triple?
