    Rust has completely lost it's progression and for the sake of what? CSGO?

    The game now levels off into a singular plateau almost immediately upon Blueprint wipe, By the second day you can guarantee that every organized serious group will have most if not all essential BP's and the term includes Bolt Actions, Ak's, Metal Armour and more. I understand that many players love this, And that it's an intrinsic part or at-least piece of Rusts culture...Only it completely dominates and denies the previous stages very existence, And not through the natural stratification of tiered play but rather the skipping of every step in order to get to what should be "End Game" loot.

    It's blatant and it goes in the face of us all, Even the large groups who are so ingrained into their own meta culture that they can't have any divergence or differing experience that is fun. We need a re-balance, And this is where my suggestion lies.

    What if we kept the combat as is, But increased by a drastic dimension the rarity of all end game weapons...And removed the ability to craft them. We're talking even the biggest clans having a few, Maybe even as little as 3 AK's between all of them and that's with a lot of looting and yeeting from other players. You make the guns much more valuable, Limit the ability for engagements happening at 300m, Allow space for other more primitive styles of combat and different approaches of play to exist.

    This thread of thought is in response to the recent BP Wipe on Rustopia, I'm a 2500 hour Legacy boy who has only ever played on this one particular server...And let me tell you...Shit's been extra crazy this past year and it's only getting worse. The Meta's are out of control, You have FULLY kitted roamers with their Clan Compounds in T1 zones within an hour of bp wipe - It's a problem.

    I wanted to do oil to get some loot. I go there but there are already 5 or so boats I go up the ladders and only 1 guy Is left. I kill him and get the big loot. 2 pythons 2 Tommy's and even an AK! I am new so this was pretty big. But, my Dumb ass STAYS THERE TO GET THE CRATES! I don't know why I didnt think they would come back to only 1 guy but when they did I panicked jumped off and died. Moral of the story: when you have the big loot you get out of there. They Will probably come back for scraps and kill you easily. Don't be greasy like I was
